Nick: OKAY!! (Pulls Kevin out of the hospital and into the car)
Stranger: good boy Nick…now drive off…forget her…
Nick: no…I can’t forget her she needs me…
Stranger: she needs her biological family…Nick not you…
Nick: biological family?
Stranger: Evangeline is adopted Nick…She’s not a Brook…she’s Evangeline Fields daughter of John Fields owner of your record label…
Nick: but Uncle John doesn’t have children…
Stranger: Nick…Evangeline’s Mom was John’s girlfriend…before he got married he was with her…then he ended it when he got married to his wife Marissa…but at the time Evangeline’s Mom was already pregnant…
Nick: who are you? How do you know this?
Stranger: you don’t need to know who I am or how I know that…just tell John that Eve is his tell him her mom’s name Violet Granger…He’ll deal with everything else…
Nick: okay… will you stay away from my family?
Stranger: drive away and I will never call or harm you and your family ever again…
Nick: (ends he call and turns to Kevin) let’s go…
Kevin: who was that?
Nick: I’ll tell you later…we have to go to Uncle John…
Kevin: okay… (Starts the car and drives off to their record label)

--- At the Jonas house --- (with Paige)
Paige: (crying) why would she do that?
Devon: (wipes away Paige’s tears) Paige…she’ll be fine…
Paige: did you see all the blood?
Joe: (comes in with the rest of the Jonas’s) any call yet?
Paige: n-no… (Hugs Devon’s torso and cries into his chest)
Mrs. Jonas: the mess in the bathroom is clean…Paige…Eve will be fine…
Mr. Jonas: She’s a strong girl…
(Doorbell rings)
Joe: I’ll get it… (Walks over to the door and opens it to reveal no one except a box) um…okay? (Carries the box into the living room after closing the door)
Mrs. Jonas: who’s that from?
Joe: (puts down the box and kneels beside it) I don’t know…it was just at the door…
Mr. Jonas: I’ll open it… (Kneels down beside Joe and open the box to reveal a bunch of papers and photographs)
Paige: (lets go of Devon and picks up a picture from the box) this is Eve’s mom…Aunt Violet…
Mrs. Jonas: (looks at the picture) I’ve seen her in another picture before… Paul doesn’t she looks familiar? (Hands the photo to Mr. Jonas)
Mr. Jonas: that’s John’s college sweetheart Violet Granger…
Devon: so Eve’s Mom was John’s girlfriend?
Mrs. Jonas: picks a piece of paper that fell from the box) it can’t be…She can’t be…
Joe: who can’t be Mom?
Mrs. Jonas: this is Evangeline’s birth certificate…Paige what is Eve’s last name?
Paige: Brooks…why?
Mr. Jonas: (stands beside his wife and reads the paper) on this birth certificate she’s Evangeline Fields…
Paige: so does this mean that Evangeline’s Dad is…
Devon: John Fields owner of…
Joe: our Record Label?
Mrs. Jonas: I guess It does…this certificate is an original…
Joe: (looks through the rest of the papers in the box) some of these are letters addressed to Uncle John, some are pictures of Eve as she was growing up…and this… (Lifts out a necklace with a silver locket and a sliver ring on it)
Mrs. Jonas: that must be Violet’s…
Paige: we have to let Eve know right?
Mr. Jonas: yes…we do have to let Eve know the truth…
--- At the hospital--- (with Eve)
Doctor: Miss Evangeline Brooks?
Eve: (sits up) yes?
Doctor: it’s a good thing you were taken here early…you lost a lot of blood…
Eve: okay…when can I get out?
Doctor: we ran your blood for other test we have to carry around here…and…
Eve: and?
